For your own questions.

You need to wait for 4 hours after you submit the question and then go back to the question, you will have a blue tab under each answer, "select as best answer", click the tab on the answer you consider to be the best. Rate the answer 1-5 stars, add a comment if you wish, click submit, you’re done. 3 points back.
For undecided questions.
==================
Click "VOTE" on any Category. Pick a question, click on the question to open it. Select the answer you think is best. Click on "Vote as Best Answer". You have gained 1 point.
Anyone at any level can select a best answer for their own question and can vote for answers to unresolved questions, (even their own answer if they wish), but you need to be on Level 2 to be able to rate (thumb up / down) other user’s answers.
well after the question has been up a while soon the commenting butten will go away and under all your awnser will have a ‘choose as best awnser’ butten you just click on the one you think is best
You must be a level 2 to vote for best answer, and you need a lot of points!, so stop asking questions, and start answering them!
All you have to do to choose a Best Answer is:-
You must wait for a minimum of four hours or more.
Click onto your question.
Read through each answer and decide which one is the best answer.
Once you have chosen your Best Answer, click the blue button underneath the answer "Choose as Best Answer".
Rate the answer by the number of stars.
Comment on the answer if you want to.
Click OK

To select a BA:
This will be possible only after your Q is 4 hours old.
After 4 hours of posting, you will see blue bars appearing below each Q.
The bars will have :
Choose Best Answer, written on it.
You will click on the tab under the answer you like. Follow instructions.
Like, rate the Q
You may make a comment about the answer or any other answer.
Then, submit it.
It is done.
You get back 3 points for choosing a BA.
At this stage, you can also delete / withdraw the Q before the expiry, you will be able to remove the Q.
You get back your points.
You can also put this Q to vote early. Then, click on the pencil icon and see the options. One says, “Put This Question To Vote”.
No points to you. Till some people vote for a BA and it is resolved.

No BA:
This process is the same as choosing a BA.
This will be possible only after your Q has expired.
After 4 hours of posting, you will see blue bars appearing below each Ans. The bar will have :
Best Answer, written on it.
But when it goes to vote, you will find the same bar says " Vote for BA".
Then, you scroll down. At the end you will see another blue bar:
No Best Answer.
Just click on it .
Then, submit it.
The Q will be deleted and you will get the points back.

As for rating answers, go to the "In Voting" sections. It is the middle tab on All answers page, or any category page.
Click on any Q,
takes you to the page with the Q and all answers.
You will see blue tabs under each answer,
click on a tab under the answer you like.
Your vote will register.

After some time, under every answer there will be a "Choose Best Answer! button (it will be blue).And when you find the best answer, just click on the button under that answer, and it will be chosen as best answer.But don’t forget, choose the best answer carefully! You will not be able to undo that!!
